On 1st of August I'm getting ready to go on camp we are going to Mount Ruapehu I'm getting my ski gear ready I'm pretty excited and nervous. We will be going for four days and spending two days skiing and we will be staying at The Crossing Back Packers. on the 20th of august we arrive it was a 6 hour drive I did not get to sleep on the way so I am tired. We lift our bags out of the bus and put them in the hall way we go into the lounge and get told the rules and we went into our new rooms I had three room mates ,Tyson,Joshua,Apollo, we had our dinner which was sausages and mash and I can't remember what was for dessert. We went back to our cabins and we played games and went to bed at ten o,cock.

 The next day we woke up at five o,cock in the morning and start to get ready. I put my thermal top,thermal pants, and ski pants on and go out to the lounge. I waited for the other boys in my block to get ready then we left to go to the lounge. When we get there we sit down and wait for the rest of boys and girls to get to the lounge once every one was there. Ms Sands tells what we will be doing once we get up there. We are starting to leave we go out the door and hop onto the bus. We start to head up to the ski loge and when we get there we transfer to a 4WD and start on our way to the Mountain we starting to climb and then we start to see snow as we get higher up when we get to the top it was really snowy we get off the bus and head to the ski hire when we get down to happy valley I  have all of my ski gear on we line up in our groups and head of we all practice side stepping and going up the magic carpet. When the ski lessons are over we head back and have lunch and then when I finished my cookies I went off and did some ski for free time and when free time ended we hoped back on the bus and went back down the Mountain when we got back we had nice hot showers and got changed into normal clothes go to our rooms and talk.
