the beach clean
On 27 of September we went down to Waikowhai Beach and did a beach clean. We got split up into groups and we set off down the beach. We had massive rubbish bags and we found a whole ton of sea glass it was really sad but the good thing was that there was no plastic. If you went down a little further down you could find a ton of crabs. One crab crawled on to my finger and literally just sat there for most of the beach clean. When we got to the end of the beach I put my finger down and I had to nudge the crab off into the rock pool and he just covered him self in sand then I looked over and a boy who had a crab and smashed it with a stick. I felt so sad for the crab when we got back we tried to pull up a tire but it was stuck so just walked back to school.
