swimming

We do swimming on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays I go all the time because it is so hot. On Wednesday we went down to the swimming pool. I played shark with
Jihu and Mosese it was really fun and the pool was so cool. I tried to get away from Mosese but he tagged me now I was the shark a dived under water it was really hard to see since there where so meany bubbles. Then I tagged Jihu and got away as fast as I could and I hid in a corner and when Jihu looked I ducked under the water. It was really fun but Then we had to get out so I got changed and when out side. To wait for the other people blog you later.                         

Athletics Day

On Athletics Day we do a number of sports. We got into our lines. I got in to the ten year old line the first activity was 200m sprint. I came 4th it was really exhausting the ground was on a tilt so it made it really hard. The next activity was a game where you had to get a tennis ball to the over side of the court. It was really hard to do but I manged to get the ball to the over side. Once we did all of the activities it was time for the big event the house group relay it was so loud every one was cheering for their house then we where called up 'three two one go!!!' Indie raced off down the track with the baton. Finally I grabbed the baton and zoomed off down the track went around the pole and zoomed back the relay was over but it was great fun. My favourite activity was the house relays because it was just so fun running with my friends and darting down the track. Once we where done we went to get our lunch and go and sit down under the trees.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
                           

the unveiling of ....

This week we unveiled our art that we have been working on for the last three weeks we had be putting a lot of our best work in to this and a lot of detail. On the day we had a special assembly we sat under our massive gum tree and one by one people that where specially chosen to pull down the blanket  unveiling the art. The first one to be unveiled was the Latin American girl by my class Manukau. The next one was the Fiji boy it looked really cool with the hair after the assembly was done we all went off to lunch time.

                      

Kiwi-sports

Hi Bloggers, last Tuesday we went to Kiwi-sports. We walked down to Hillsborough park. When we got there we sat on the mat. There were so many schools there. The first activity was Hoopla. We lined up and the first one up was Tyson. He got so many points for us. When I went in I dodged some of the people but then I got out when we finished. We moved on to Non-Stop Cricket. You had to hit the ball and run to the end of the line and then get the bat all the way to the front before the bowler had a chance to hit the wickets. We managed to get 15 points but the other team still beat us. We went back to the mat to eat our lunch. Next was Rob The Nest, where split up into teams of four but we only won once. Next up was Scatter Ball where I got eight runs and we won the game.

It was a really fun day.
